Compared to the first Solar Flare, the Solar Flare 2 delivers a touch more overstability and flatter profile, giving you added confidence in windy conditions and even more bite at the end of the flight. Engineered for confident throws and for players who want reliability and performance with serious style.
Triple-Foiled Goodness
The Solar Flare 3 is offered with the stunning triple foil stamp design in the European market. All of the discs listed under this product feature a stamp created with 3 different foils, all covering different parts of the stamp. You're able to choose the weight class & color of your disc, but the foils will be fulfilled at random.
About the FD3 mold
The FD3 is our stable-to-overstable workhorse fairway driver, aimed to get the work done no matter the conditions. For more powerful players, the FD3 maintains a reliable straight flight pattern for a good bit of distance before the powerful fade inevitably kicks in. For lower arm speeds, the FD3 acts more as a utility driver that always flies predictably thanks to its strong low-speed fade. It's not the most overstable driver ever created, but it offers a great balance of range, accuracy and fade for many, making it a choice you'll rely on in various situations from both backhand and sidearm. Thanks to the different plastic and release versions out there, you can almost always find the right stability for your needs!
